We combine verified data from audited company reports and sources like Wikirate, B Corp and SBTi with our proprietary methodology to produce an indicative score. It reflects company-level environmental performance relative to peers in the same industry and size group.

We collect environmental data—like emissions (Scopes 1–3), waste, net zero targets, and third-party certifications—directly from company disclosures and reputable sources such as B Corp and Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). Each company is benchmarked based on sector and revenues. The result is a clear 0–5 score reflecting a brands' environmental performance, relative to others like it.
